Molly Hagan (RYT 500)
•Licensed to teach The Thinking Body – The Feeling Mind® (Created by Linda Lack PhD) •Registered with the Yoga Alliance •Member of The International Association of Yoga Therapists
Like Many people, Molly came to Yoga because of a chronic injury. As early as age 27 she felt old and her body was shutting down. In 1988 Molly began studying with Dr. Linda Lack a movement therapist and Yoga Teacher. Linda’s technique was beautiful, elegant and safe. By practicing The Thinking Body – The Feeling Mind®, Molly learned to have a dialogue between the mind and body, to differentiate between physical danger and mental anxiety. At times it was thrilling, at other times it was deeply nurturing.
Wanting to share this technique with others, Molly began teaching in 1999. Molly continues to study with Dr. Lack as The Thinking Body – The Feeling Mind® is an expansive healing movement technique that continues to grow.
Molly is a recent Level II graduate of Larry Payne’s Yoga Therapy RX program at LMU.
Molly has been a great resource for me. I can confidently send my clients to get in touch with their bodies.
For me personally I suffered a tear in my shoulder from water sports. Recovering slowly but surely with all my exercises from PT, I went to Molly’s yoga class. how feeble I felt compared to everyone else but Molly made me feel comfortable and kept me in touch with what my shoulder could do. I will never forget the moment my shoulder let go, I have been able to surf and paddle since that day! I have complete confidence that any injuries that I or my clients may receive from our adventures, Molly and her yoga will be a big part in our recovery and in preparing us to not get injured in the first place!

Though I’ve practiced Yoga for over a decade, what I experienced with Molly’s teaching has led me to a profoundly different connection to my own body. M.S.
At sixty years of age, since I had had no experience with yoga and since Molly’s class included members of all ages and all levels of expertise, I was sharply reluctant to sign up… Molly so seamlessly and so effortlessly accommodates all ages and all degrees of yoga capability that such concerns just disappear… Molly’s yoga teaching works. And it works in ways I didn’t fully understand before I’d tried it.

Molly is an inspiration in so many ways. As a mover, as a teacher, as a presence in the world. Her knowledge of biomechanics of movement, coupled with her ability to think creatively regarding her students’ needs, makes for a singularly rewarding yoga experience. So many yoga classes are pose-focused, and ego driven. Molly’s approach allows for the slow opening up of the body, (again, with respect for the restrictions and abilities of each student), and the overall experience is one of an enlightening conversation between mind and body. I often recommend her classes to my Rolfing clients.

A broken leg is what brought me to Molly. She was recommended as possibly being able to help me with rehabilitation. I had been on crutches for over a year when we started working together… I still get comments that I don’t show any ramifications from the break and I am convinced that is because of Molly’s expertise and encouragement. I highly recommend her work and still depend on her to help me keep my body in alignment. Joanne Simmons (private client)
Sasha Stone (RYT 200)
•Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher •Yoga Therapist •Thai Yoga Massage Therapist •Member of The International Association of Yoga Therapists
Sasha became interested in health, fitness, and spirituality at a very young age. However, it wasn’t until attending University in Toronto that she tried her first yoga class and it all came together. From there, a series of important life events led her to Los Angeles, and the YogaWorks 200-hour teacher training at Center for Yoga in Larchmont, which she completed in 2008. Reading the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali was a revelation! Realizing that the physical art form that she loved so much had a deep underlying philosophy that resonated so strongly made stepping more fully onto the yoga path an incredibly natural transition.
In 2011, Sasha completed the Yoga Therapy Rx Level 1 program at Loyola Marymount University. She is currently studying with movement therapist Dr. Linda Lack and prana flow yogini Shiva Rea. Sasha is also trained in Thai Yoga massage, with Saul David Raye’s Ritam School of Healing Arts, as well as the highly esteemed Shivagokomarpaj Thai Massage School in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Sasha’s classes blend together her variety of influences into a mindful, meditative, and accessibly challenging flow. I recently began working with Sasha in one of her yoga classes. She is a singularly superb teacher – mindful of just the kind of gentle instruction students need in order to facilitate more complete poses, better alignment, and over all well being. Her classes are well paced and very creative – she includes positions that are unique and very healing. Sasha’s overall demeanor and approach is warm, compassionate and caring. Each time class is over I find myself looking forward to the next!
